first day in berlin abt 2 months back.
my grad trip with kev mave and mel. pretty photos taken w kev's daemon. might just be the first thing i ll buy for myself when i get a proper job + proper pay.
just had to include aicher's work to prove tt i was listening in class. german designers. the master of the grids, which i ❤.

working 1000 – 1900 is draining. need to get used to it and still go out on weekdays before i get sucked into years of no play.

great time connecting w the inner nerd. esp w ppl who share the joy of carrying nintendo jetpacks and ringing bicycle bells.

i rmbr complaining to muff tt we havent got common friends to hang ard w. but i guess this has changed a little for now.

I LOVE..

Mattia Castiglioni. for showing tt being minimalistic doesnt necessarily mean boring design. for playing with shapes and cutting them up till they are pleasing to the eye.

tuesdays were i-love-these-guys days in shillington. and sweet old sass inspired me to put this down today. she has always been great in school. and no doubt a great designer.

not sure if i can keep the tuesday habit. cause there really is no time to get inspired here.

UNSPOKEN RULES

first real life plant from muff. and its stolen from a box.

weekdays have just been crap hours mouse clicking and screen staring. but all the learning and limited ed flower nespresso makes up for it. + working on 2screens today for the first time in my life, was pretty awesome.

MORNINGS

was watching some vid on jo's blog and came across this after.
well worth 3:36 x 4 mins of my life.

absolutely pretty and calming. esp after a nightmare.

i dreamt that a group of designers were using a red marker, marking out everything tt is bad in my portfolio. i kept asking what was wrong but they gave me this wtf face. i started crying. woke up w tears in my eyes and started sobbing. called muff and cried like a kid. i can hear him trying to hide his laughter hahahahah. called mum and she literally laughed out loud and said i was being silly.

well. i guess tt really wld be the worst nightmare when i find out my portfolio is useless. thinking abt it still makes me quite depressed.

3rd day back home.

GROUNDED FOUNDATIONS.

a shoot i helped jer with. i made sure they were faceless, so tt i breathed a little easier and wont cringe when i see it.
life is fine for now. but i can imagine myself being fucking messed up this week, preparing 10 different briefs tt wld be portfolio material. which sounds impossible.
i can feel the stress just by typing whats going to happen.

anyway. sth i was working on today.
student work. post card thing for a family fest org by "we are what we do". their pretty cool idea of what cld happen if the human race does a small, simple action a day to make the world a better plc.

i know theres sth quite wrong abt it. just need to find the right shade of pastel.

(srsly wtf was i thinking when i got a dress with colour.)

C says i always get ripped off at the mkt.
i think im simply. a pushover.
